Dr Jukes’ rooms are situated in the grounds of The Memorial Hospital for close post-operative management. To help with your recovery on-site physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and rehabilitation facilities are available if indicated.
During your stay at hospital, you will be visited daily (during the week) by the hospital’s neurosurgical liaison nurse who will monitor your progress and ensure your discharge is smooth and effective. The nurse will also be there to answer any questions you may have and will liaise with Dr Jukes should you have any issues you want addressed.
After discharge the nurse will contact you to ensure your recovery is running smoothly and assist with any concerns you may have. The physiotherapist will also see you following your surgery to help get you up and moving again and will prepare you for your discharge.
